Devotional Day 19: Reach

The thing about our God is that He is eternal and therefore His Grace towards us is endless. Consider that the purpose for reaching out and touching Jesus is to be transformed and not only just transformed but transformed from Glory to Glory.

 

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

 

Unfortunately, most of us see God's Glory as being far off in heaven, and therefore don't experience the transformation that comes by beholding the glory that is in us (Colosians 1:27 ...Christ in you, the hope of glory). We need to pray that our spiritual eyes be open to the riches of the glory of His inheritance, which is in Us (Ephesians 1:18). 

 

Remember: God is endless, so we receive according to our appetite as stated in Exodus 16:16, "Let every man gather it (manna) according to each one's need, one omer for each person, according to the number of persons; let every man take for those who are in his tent." How big is our appetite for God's Glory? Let's not frustrate God's Grace towards us by not reaching out with every fiber of our being.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to help increase your appetite for God’s glory to transform in your life. Pray for revelation of the Grace of God towards you as your reach out to those around you.
