Pastor Eddie has called the congregation of Lifegate Church to a time of fasting and prayer beginning January 3. Each of the 21 Days of this Solemn Assembly you will be able come to this site and see the Solemn Assembly Devotional.
Let us praise God for all He has done this year and ask Him to move in power among His people in 2011! During this time, we are encouraged to pray and fast in one accord as we seek God’s direction for ourselves, our families, and Lifegate Church.

It is quite another thing to go where this verse of scripture sends us; outside ourselves. This verse is a call to put ourselves last, which can be easier said than done.

Why do we have to reach out? Hebrews 2:9 says that God, through His Grace (Jesus), hath tasted death for EVERY man. Ponder the responsibility of reaching out because it was upon the rejecting of the Good News by the Jews that the Gospel was sent to the Gentile world.
